SAY IT WITH A STELLA

A tech-fueled integration to help Stella Artois amplify their efforts

THE IDEA

Stella Artois came to us to help them amplify their campaign for World Water Day in partnership with Water.org, raising awareness for water scarcity around the world. They were looking for integration into our subscription box, but needed a way to do it. We had a fun insight around how many people in couples, or looking to send a Valentine’s Day wish a) didn’t really know how to express themselves in a fun but meaningful way and b) were always looking for ideas beyond the obvious in terms of gifts.

So we invited our audience to “Say It With a Stella” , killing these two birds with one stone. Using a combination of proprietary technology and a simple hook to share the message by sharing the love, we created a stunt for Stella that helped the brand act locally, but think globally.

THE NET NET:

  • ENGAGEMENT & AMPLIFICATION: We helped Stella reach a highly engaged audience, our Must Have box subscribers, who amplified the message by sharing their unboxing and talking about the World Water Day Message

  • TECH INTEGRATION: We came up with a clever way to use fun technology to get attention

  • BREAKING THROUGH THE CLUTTER: We captured new audience interest during a saturated Valentine’s Day moment

This in-house built SMS functionality allowed Must Have Box subscribers and Must Have subscribers to reply “Yes” to instantly receive the box.

MINIBAR PARTNERSHIP

We worked with a local delivery NYC delivery service, Minibar, to deliver boxes to their NYC customers along with the purchase of a six-pack of Stella. Minibar donated a portion of these sales to Water.org.
